EXHIBITIONS


The Upstairs Artspace in Tryon, NC presents 10 to 15 exhibits annually which are developed around themes or genres such as abstract art, works on paper, prints, figurative painting, landscapes, sculpture, and installations. The artists are selected for their ability and reputation, and while most are from the Southeast, we also exhibit work from other parts of the country. The Upstairs is known for art that is avant-garde, but our true objective is to feature contemporary art of the highest quality. We have three separate exhibition spaces and introduce new shows approximately every two months.
