Patricia Cole-Ferullo's paintings have received top awards in regional, national and international competitions. Selected works by Cole-Ferullo can be found in private and public collections in the United States and Italy.

In Spring 1999 The Artist Magazine featured a demonstration and article about Pat and her approach to painting. In 2010 she was one of ten finalists who placed in the abstract category of The Artists Magazine's Annual Juried Competition (out of thousands of entries from all over the world).

Putting marks and paint on canvas, paper of board allows me to express a part of myself that words cannot. I truly love the physical, emotional and creative act of painting and drawing, allowing the color, texture and line to bring to life my deep connection to the invisible energies surrounding us. My paintings could be described as organic in nature. My strongest influence springs from the Abstract Expressionists, particularly Helen Frankenthaler, Robert Motherwell, Franz Kline, & Mark Rothko. I also enjoy channeling the playful, universal expressiveness of Miro, Matisse, and of course, Wassily Kandinsky.
