Michael Hayes
Letting physical, emotional and natural attractions flow through lyrical abstraction, Hayes brings life to Oceanographic like images. Each images tells a story bringing to light the fragile eco system that either exist in abundance and are being annihilated from pollution and abuse. Species the oldest of any kind albeit fish, coral, kelp, or mollusks are being endangered by this over use. Over warming, over fishing and over polluting are the actions causing disastrous results in many ecosystems wiping them out partially or wholly or disfiguring their likeness from lack of nutrients. His art hopefully brings an awareness of the beauty, suffering and importance to preserve the world of WATER and it's living components.
