Terry Jarrard-Dimond is a native of South Carolina and resides in Clemson, SC. She earned a BA from Winthrop University in Rock Hill and an M>F.A. from Clemson University. After completion of her MFA she worked for more than 15 years as a sculptor and taught at several colleges and universities as was as the summer program of The South Carolina Governor's School of the Arts. Her work is represented in collections including Coca-Cola International Atlanta, Georgia; The Federal Reserve Bank, Charlotte, NC; and the State Museum of South Carolina.
During the last three years Terry’s work has been selected for major competitive exhibitions including FiberArt International 2013, Art Quilt Elements, Visions, Artist as Quiltmaker and Art=Quilts=Art winning the 2007 and the 2009 Schweinfurth Award for Design Excellence. Her work toured Europe for two years as part of the Color Improvisations Exhibition curated by internationally know artist Nancy Crow. In addition, her work has been featured in solo shows: Textile Constructions, Furman University, Greenville SC and Textile Constructions, Columbia College, Columbia, SC, and Textile Constructions, The Fine Arts Center, Greenville, SC. Terry resides in Seneca South Carolina.
